One of the primary purposes of the Mississippi Association of Grantmakers is to foster networking among its members.  We seek to build relationships with which our members can share experiences, learn from each other and find ways to collaborate on common issues and interests.  When sufficient interest emerges among a group of MAG’s members, a network or affinity group may form, meet regularly to address common issues and develop programs or initiatives, and receive administrative support from MAG in its work.

MAG also encourages its members to engage and network with philanthropic leaders across Mississippi and in other locations, along with those in public, private and nonprofit sectors involved in philanthropic work, to build relationships of trust and cooperation that lead to collaborative work.  To that end, we provide information to our members about networks of grantmakers and others across the country that may provide resources and support for work in Mississippi.
